A: Denver, CO USA
Q: What’s your background? What did you do before Modulate?
A: I am a SAAS lifer, I have done Auto Recycling, Early SMS APi Bots, and most recently Active Fence Trust and Safety
Q: Why are you joining Modulate?
A: Its a familiar space to me, a good group, and a great mission.
Q: What’s your ideal work environment? Any special strategies you use to stay effective?
A: I am a heads down guy. Headphones and low distractions. I work in 2-3 hour stints… if possible. Also love to jam to get a presentation ready at the last minute, I am a pressure player.

A: A mix, people with interesting stories and backgrounds from all over the place
Q: Who are you outside of work?
A: Me, but quiet. I dont talk much when I am not at work. I like quiet hobbies
Q: What’s something you’re great at that few people realize?
A: I may be the best plastic model builder/painter you ever meet. And I carry a 200 average in 10-Pin bowling
Q: Leave us with a fun tidbit - a favorite joke, a story from your past, an obscure riddle, whatever you like!
A: At an old company when Slack was new. There was a free version, which worked great, but had a limit on the number of messages it could contain on the free version. When some co-workers found about about party parrot, they wrote a program to spam every channel with so so many party parrots.. Like thousands.. So after that we lost 1000’s of old messages since slack deleted old ones in favor of new ones on the free tier. CTO and CEO were not thrilled as they had been keeping all kinds of notes and such in Slack..
